Ever Wonder Why A Dachshund Is Called A Wiener Dog, Hot dog, or Sausage Dog?

Have you ever asked why or ever wonder why a Dachshund Dog is sometimes called or known as a wiener dog, or a sausage dog or even a hot dog in other parts of the world? ..... :)

..... most probably its due to its short-legged, elongated, long, narrow build, they are sometimes referred as Sausage Dog, Wiener Dog & Hot Dog in many other parts of the world .... heh heh heh .... cute huh :)
