By Lance Fried

It's good to give your dog some treats at least if not frequently but after a specific time or after the dog has pleased you. It's also not good to give him treats some other specific times.

Treats are a good way of developing friendship between you and your dog, the dog will love you because of the treats and will also know that you are satisfied with his/her behavior.

It's one of the best way of getting your dog to do what you want it to do and make it to learn to obey you. The more frequent you do this, the more and more the dog learns to b e obedient to you.

This is in psychology is referred to as positive reinforcement and ensures that the dog learns to conform to your rules and respect you. You should also learn to give the dog a treat when you are a way.

This ensures that the dog does not always meet you but look forward to the time that you are going to leave home so that you can be able to have a good time as he/she enjoys the food that you have left him/her.

But remember to monitor the amount of calories in the food when you decide to give your dog a treat ensure you give it the right amount of calories required for its proper its development.

You should follow strictly the regulation given by the manufacturer that is usually attached by the manufacturer that is usually attached at the packet. This is so because if you give him a treat with les calories his health will worsen and become more malnourished if you give him a treat with excess calories it will become overweight and lazy hence prone to diseases.

For cases of overweight dogs, reduce the amount of calories in his /her treats to ensure it sheds of some of the calories and resume it s normal health.
