Keep Dog Hair Out Of Your Bed

By Ann Kapulski

We Love to Sleep with Our Dogs

Your dog pays you the ultimate compliment by making you a member of the pack and jumping into bed to sleep with you. You love him so much so you let him or her sleep in your bed. The price for that is all the dog hair that gets matted in your sheets, blankets and bed spreads. Dust bunnies take on the appearance of your dog and you find them everywhere.

What To Do About The Dog Hair

Your sheets, bed spreads and blankets can be washed a couple of times per week, but that isn't very practical and it greatly reduces the life of your bedding. The best and most practical solution is to get your dog a pair of dog pajamas. All that dog hair stays on the dog and off of your sheets, pillow cases and blankets.

Other Methods for Dealing with Dog Hair

You can also control dog hair with regular bathings, daily flea combing and brushing. This helps a lot with collecting the loose hair so you can throw it away instead of finding it all over the house. You can also never let the dog into the house, but who wants to do that? We love having our little buddy inside the house!

Cute Dog Clothes That Work as Dog Pajamas

To best control the dropped dog hair, get a dog outfit that mostly covers him or her. For dog pajamas, buy dog clothes that are labeled pajamas, but you can also use any lightweight dog outfit that has some leg coverage and covers most of the body. It is best that you purchase one size larger than the size chart states for your dog so it is loose and he has room to move in his sleep.
