5 reasons why a cat bed would be ideal for your cats

By Joe David

Cats and kittens can be remarkably choosy - as you possibly know already if you're a cat person. For some mysterious reason cats can turn their noses up to the more expensive food from the pet shop, a really cool plaything you've bought them or a scratching post even though they adore shredding up your carpets and rugs at home!

If you've already identified that - the chances are you think "Should I bother getting them a cat bed?"

Well, it's a reasonable question. But on the flip side, here are 5 excellent reasons as to why you should try and encourage your cat to try out a comfortable cat bed.

To start with it can help make a quiet space, extra comfortable for your moggy. All of us love a bit of personal space when we have had a hectic day and pets are exactly the same. Once they've had enough and want some space, let them find an extra pleasant area to unwind - with a snuggly cat bed to help them to sleep.

They'll find it difficult to turn down a comfortable cat bed if you put it in a private position that they like. Spare rooms, back rooms and underneath bed frames are some common locations where lots of felines like to relax.

Number two - It offers them a location to use regularly. Most cats adore sleeping where we humans want to unwind. Our beds, the couch, dining rooms are just a few examples.

Yet truth be told; it can be rather frustrating when they are resting on top of your bed regularly. So offer them a location all of their own so they will stop doing it (all of the time anyway) down the road.

Number three - It's more tidy than using duvets and soft cushions for them. Lots of people choose to use spare blankets, duvets and cushions to make make-shift sleeping points for their felines, but it does not look especially attractive when you've got friends around.

Investing in a cat bed means you can put one thing incredibly comfy in a place they love to sleep (window ledges and table surfaces as an example) in more taste than an old cloth.

Furthermore, you can create a comfy and cosy retreat for them outdoors. A cat bed can be used in a private place outdoors, like in a garden shed, garage or greenhouse as an example, to offer your moggy an outdoor alternative retreat if that's their thing.

You'll be able to bring your trendy cat bed out into a shaded place during the summer time so they can rest out in the clean air too!

Number five - A cat radiator bed will keep them nice and toasty. Radiator cat beds are amazing for kitties who like to get close to radiators or warm locations. They hang on the top of the radiator, so they have a escape off of the floor (something cats adore), that will also be toasty and snug in the winter months.

And that's it! Five convincing reasons why you should purchase a charming new cat bed. For a purchase of 10 to 30 quid, you can offer a specific space that is ultra comfortable and out of the way of your relaxation space for your much-loved kitty.
