Holistic Medicine: Not Just For Humans Anymore

In te last few years, all around the world,
especially here in the United States, people have
gone through a change in the way that they feed
and take care of themselves. In recent years, it
is obvious that Americans are living healthier
than they used to: a decline in fast food sales,
coupled with a steady increase in gym membership
and organic food sales shows this. It seems that
instead of complaining about seeing a new
McDonalds or Burger King opening on every corner,
I tend to see more openings of Sprouts Farmers
Markets, GNC, or Whole Foods. People care about
what they put into their bodies now, just ask
anyone, they are liking the resuts. These natural
foods and supplements are haveing dramatiic
effects on the health of the people who take
them, and with people making the effort to keep
their family eating healthy, the next logical
step is obviously our favorite four legged
friends: the family pet.

It makes perfect sense when you think about it:
you enjoy the health benefits from organic foods,
health supplements, and exercise; why wouldn't
your dog? Our animals are much smarter than you
think, and although they may not be able to send
you a text message asking you to feed them
something to help them feel better, our animals
do know what they like, want, and they know what
makes them feel good. If you can add a holistic
supplement to your dogs food to boost protein,
energy, or immune system, you WILL see results,
just as you do when you take them yourself.

Dog food supplements are simple. You buy them at
the pet store, then you go home, and when it
comes to feeding time for your pet, you can just
add the recomended serving size to the top of
Spot's favorite chow. Within hours you will be
able to tell the difference, and see that your
animal is simply "feeling good". Whether you need
to add energy, fight off sickness, or simply to
cut the pounds off of a chubby dog, adding a
natural supplement will make sure that your pet
is recieving all of the nutrition that it should
be getting; as many dog foods skip out on the
more expensive ingredients to cut costs, adding a
supplement to even the store brand chow will give
your animal the vitamins and minerals that it is
being deprived from its processed canned or dry
food.

It is easy to take care of yourself, but when it
comes to our animals, many of us are clueless
since they cannot speak for themselves. If your
dog could head to the local pet store and buy it
for himself, im sure he would.
