Why Do Cavachons Shed And How They Can Be Taken Care Of

There are different kinds of animals that people consider as pets. These can be dogs, cats, mice, birds, hamsters, and others. These animals offer companionship and comfort to their sad and lonely masters. They could also become the guardians of their houses, especially the dogs.

The dogs are actually not pure breeds. These are hybrid results between two breeds, the Bichon Frise and the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Small sizes are common for these dogs. Toy sized adult breeds have weights that range from eight until fifteen pounds while standard sized adults have weights that range from fifteen until twenty two pounds.

These puppies also have cute appearances. There are different colors for their coats. Some have white coats with apricot patches. Others also have white, black, or light brown ones. Their heights may range from twelve to thirteen inches and will be suitable for those owners who live in apartments.

Typically, their coats are wavy or curly. They have soft and smooth coats. These coats quickly grow long, around three until five inches. They typically do not shed lots of hairs. However, they shed when they are young and their permanent coats will show afterwards. They are typically hypoallergenic and people with dander allergies will not experience allergic reactions from them.

This puppy has a quiet and calm temperament. It is very gently and also tolerant. With the said characteristics, the owner could be leaving his child or another pet with the dog. It is a friendly one and loves the companionship of its human owner. It is not that energetic but it still needs to be performing exercises, like day walks.

The individuals should ensure that the coats of the pets will be taken care of. The hairs should be regularly brushed so that these will not become dirty or matted. The hairs should be trimmed several times. Specific budgets can be set and used to have these puppies sent to pet parlors. Safe shampoos should also be utilized whenever these dogs will be washed and should be properly dried afterwards.

These dogs have superior intelligence. For this, the owners should train them while they are still in their formative years. This way, the dogs will understand what their masters want from them. The individuals can enroll them to dog obedience training schools. If they decide to train these pups themselves, they must practice consistency during these trainings.

The individual should be playing with the puppy. They could be playing fetch or just walking around his property. He must be providing the animal with good food and also clean water. He must be respecting his pet. The pup typically develops an ear infection due to the hair inside its ears. For this situation, the individual should be sending it to a veterinarian.
