By Sandra Turner

Everything in this world today is being automated. It is as a result of the growing technology. This is why you would get to hear there is something called an automatic hay feeder. Many would rubbish this machine to being just useless. They are however important than the traditional way of feeding a horse. Automatic hay feeders are however not limited to horses they can also be fed to cattle. They are just not for horses as many would think.

They are best suited for ones horse feeding habits. Not only are they good at what they do they also are very cheap. Machines are cost effective for the horses digestive system. They aid in making sure that all goes well inside there. The work of the system is to simply improve the feeding habits of an animal.

What makes it stand out from the traditional methods is that it is manageable. The feeder is easily controlled. Depending with the manufacturer most of this feeders are easily controlled by a mere button. This makes them way easier to manage than when it is controlled by human power. The quantity is easily manageable and so is the quality. Most machines will sort them down.

This is the first cause of making the animal sick. The bacteria which are found on the ground would normally find themselves in the animal. This was not good for the animal. Most cases they would get worms which would deplete the animal in a matter of weeks.

The goal that the machine is trying to achieve is to optimize the feed digestibility. Scientifically for food to be effective to body it should have been digested properly. This is normally not the case for horses. They may feed to much therefore making much food to go to waste. This is not good to owner. This is as the feed cost is not that friendly. Other than cash the machine helps the horse use the full nutritional value which is important.

They are not comfortable. The goods are used to eat at the fields. The tools are developed in such a manner that it provides a horse with enough quantity that can also found in the field. The regime should be as close as possible as to that which is in the natural feeding environment.

The feeding times normally greatly increases with the use of this implement. The horse feeds more in that process. This results to a healthier horse. Each feed however is lesser than the previous. This way the horse feeds like it does naturally.

The frequent meals help to combat issues such as ulcers. Frequent meals mean that rarely will the stomach of an animal remain empty. They would always have something in there. By nature, horses are required to constantly eat small amounts of food. In this case there will be less instances of the animal having the gastrointestinal problems which include colic and ulcers. This material is built to prevent this.
