One In Three Individuals Spell German Shepherd The Wrong Way
I was surprised to find out that about one in every three folks spell the word German Shepherd mistakenly, calling them German Shepards instead. I'm amazed that this word is so normally mistyped, and I'm even further surprised to realized that I spelled it like this for so many years.
I detest spelling words mistakenly and I always attempt to avert it. I'm always careful to make sure that I'm precise with my spelling, although like just about any person, occasionally I just slip up. The great thing is that I have an easy way to remember how to spell this breed of dog correctly.

You don't think of the German Shepards (I'm kidding) now as sheep herding dogs, as they are routinely used by law enforcement to fight crime, in airports to sniff out substances, and in other places that depend on the dog's good sense of smell.
This, though, is why they had been bred, & remembering this ought to make it much easier to write the word properly.
