Fleas, Lice and Ticks are common pests that can
be a real pain in our dogs' lives; they can

easy for you to spot them on a dog, they are
light brown in colour and sometimes attach
themselves to the hairs. As well as them being
tapeworm carriers it is possible for them to
carry other types of diseases, although the main
problem here is if the lice lay eggs. If the dog
is unfortunate enough to have a pregnant female
on him or her it really is a huge problem, as
she will lay her eggs and they will stick to
individual hairs with an almost glue like
substance, which in turn makes it very hard to
treat as nothing will break through the eggs.

The way to stop these three dog pests from
hurting your pet is easy; you should try to stop
the pests from being attracted to your dog,
rather than deal with them after, when it has
become much more of an issue for you and your
