Allergies in Dogs: Fact or Fiction?

Why does my dog have allergies?

BUT, MAYBE THERE'S A MUCH BETTER QUESTION,
LIKE...

"Why do I BELIEVE that my dog (or Cat) has
allergies?" Very likely, it is because you have
one or more veterinary professionals giving you
an all-too-quick assessment that all the itching
and skin or ear problems causing suffering for
your pet are a result of allergic reactions.
Unfortunately, you - like millions of other
people in any given month - have been led into
this "dog allergies" mind set without benefit of
being able to consider, or even be AWARE of where
a REAL 'understandable cause' may lie. That is
the purpose of this article - to provide "food
for thought", and allow you to re-evaluate the
situation, from an alternative point of view.
Certainly, there IS something very seriously
wrong with your pet - causing all those
symptoms. But to help you, we need to build the
foundation that allows you to change your
thinking - since most people reading this have
already been 'convinced' that allergies is the
fundamental issue.

HOW A VET IS LED TO THE "ALLERGIES" DIAGNOSIS...

An observant veterinary professional will
recognize (in your pet) the "immune system
response" (inflammation) that causes all that
itching, redness, or inflamed ears. What cannot
be seen is the constant stream of TOXINS and
dying Fungus/Candida cells coming to the surface
of the skin from the internal disorder/imbalance
in the GUT. Yes, FUNGUS - rather than allergies
- is commonly the real problem; and, this issue
is resolvable, where allergies is NOT. It is the
JOB of the immune system to respond to something
going on within the skin; and, like a Mosquito
bite, the inflammation response then results in
ITCHING, heat, and redness. Since veterinary
schooling did not cover 'digestive disorders' -
that can cause external symptoms - the NATURAL
tendency is... to 'go with the flow', and assume
that "allergies" are the causative factor. This
is largely because "allergies in dogs" has
become the 'industry standard' de facto
diagnosis for these problems, and has developed
over decades into a billion dollar industry.

WHERE TO GO FROM HERE...

So far, you have likely only trusted doctors.
Yes, we ALL want and need to trust the diagnosis
decisions of our doctors; but, does that
necessarily mean they are always right? I think
most of us know the answer to that question.
While writing this, I can tell you of my own
experience. My friend and his wife trusted the
concurrence of 3 doctors and had surgery on our
6-year-old daughter - only to find out the
surgery had no effect on the problem, which was
discovered years later to be a digestive
disorder. Sound familiar?

It is a pretty safe assumption that you want to
end the suffering for your dog or cat, but it is
usually the confusion that gets in the way, and
keeps people from wanting to hear anything
contrary to the 'allergies' mindset that was
instigated by well-meaning veterinary
professionals. It is highly recommended that if
you have been given the "allergy" diagnosis from
your vet, you should do research on the symptoms.
Once you can identify the symptoms, it should
become fairly clear on what the real issue is.
More times than not, it is a digestive issue or
the Candida Yeast. There are some very excellent
all natural pet supplements available on the
market that provide the nutrients that aids and
supports the bodys' healing ability. Some even
guarantees results.
