Learn The Basics Of Dog Training

Being an owner of a cute and cuddly puppy is not
just enough. The word cute does not guarantee a
well behaved dog; it is only the outside
appearance. You have a choice of having a cuddly
pet which is obedient and does not mess up your
home. Dog training can be very helpful on how
you raise and teach your dog. Of course, dogs
learn like humans do but it is better to train
them while they are still puppies. They can be
very adorable and loyal pets that you can keep
at home.

You can enroll your puppy in a dog school or you
can train it on your own. Either way, you should
never forget the basics in raising a
well-behaved pet. How your pets treat you also
depend on how you treat them. If you keep on
punishing them in every mistake they make then
expect that they will become harsh and feel
distant towards you. Remember that you should
create a friendly atmosphere and you need to
build a bond between you and your canine. In the
end, you can count on them as your defender and
as a buddy as well.

You can go on rewarding your pet for the good
things and behavior that it has shown. You can
do so by giving it some dog biscuits or some hug
for a very great performance. This way, you are
showing your dog affection and love. Although it
cannot speak the human language but it can
understand your gestures where words fail to
express. In return it will give you love,
respect and its loyalty. If you think that your
puppy is not feeling well or is sick, do not
force it to do the training as it can worsen the
situation.

You can set the rules inside your house and be
sure that you have to be consistent with these
rules and have them not broken. If you can see
that the canine is exhausted from all day
training, give it some rest or let it take a
nap. It is also a living creature and it also
needs rest and food to survive. Well, you can
set the training before its usual meal because
that way it can feel more energetic, motivated,
and very eager because it is looking forward to
eating its meal. You should learn techniques in
dog training to acquire more knowledge on how
you treat your puppy. In the end, you will know
that it does listen and obey what you tell it to
do.
