The Benefits OF Hiring Worldwide Pet Relocators
With the continual growth and development of
Dubai's economy, numerous investors have started
to transfer business, start anew and or relocate
to the country with hopes of opening new
opportunities and lucrative ventures.
If you are considering the idea of accepting a
work offer in another country but are still
sitting on the fence because you are worrying
about leaving your pet behind, know that you can
bring your pet with you. However, when relocating
your pet (whether through the assistance of
worldwide pet relocators or through your own
efforts), there are certain regulations and
bureaucratic work that you have to hurdle first.
Note that you cannot import animals like dogs,
cats or rabbits that are aged below four months.
Your pet's vaccination should also be at least 21
days old. In importing your pet, they should be
manifested as cargo and not as accompanied
baggage.
The Ministry of Environment and Water (MOEW) of
a middle eastern country and the country's
Municipality have a list which restricts the
import of certain dog breeds. This list includes
Pit Bull Terriers, Dogo Argentino, Fila
Brasilerio, Japanese Tosa Inu, American
Staffordshire Terriers, Dobermans, Huskies,
Rottweilers, Shar Peis and wolf and dog
crossbreeds.
If you are considering using Emirates Airline
to transport your pet, note that they too have a
list of dog and cat breeds which they have
banned. Included in the list of banned dog
breeds are Japanese Chins, Chow Chows, English
Toy Spaniels, Pugs, Pekinese, and Tibetan
Spaniels. As for cats, the airline will not
allow Burmese, Exotics, Himalayans and Persians
aboard their aircrafts.
If you have the necessary paperwork in order,
you do not have to worry about having your pet
in quarantine. However, if you are missing a few
documents, your pet may be quarantined, shipped
back to your home country, or even confiscated.
Among the documents/information you have to
prepare are the Rabies Neutralizing Antibody
Test (RNATT), your pet's current vaccination,
pet details (name, species, breed, birth date,
sex and colours), microchip number and a copy of
your passport.
Typically, persons relocating overseas are only
allowed to bring along two pets. However, with
the assistance of the right pet relocator, you
can bypass such a limit. Indeed, you can save
yourself from the hassles of handling the whole
pet importation process by taking advantage of
the experience and expertise of pet relocation
experts.
