Dog Training - Tips To Make Your Pet Obey You

Dog training is important to build and strengthen
the bond between the canine and his owner. This
will enhance the way they communicate with each
other as well as develop the pup's behavior
towards humans and his surroundings. Keep in mind
that the behavior of dogs does not depend on
their breeds, size, and their age. They can only
obey what is commanded to them if they are
properly trained.

Canines are typically playful and sometimes they
can be grumpy and barks at anyone or anything
that they see. This can get into the nerves of
their owners especially if the safety of their
neighbors or of the passersby is compromised.
This kind of situation must be taken seriously
and must be handled properly.

To train a dog can be tough especially if they
are hyper active and if you do not have any
experience about it. However, you can still teach
them the basics. First is to understand that the
bite of a puppy cannot hurt that much since they
have sharp teeth and their jaws are weak. On the
other hand, the adult kind has dull teeth but has
a very powerful jaw which can cause significant
damage to your flesh. As a trainer, you have to
slowly teach them to stop biting anything that
they see. Once they get the hang of it, they will
not do it anymore.

When you interact with your pup, you have to make
them understand on why you are reprimanding them.
The command "no" is sometimes not enough for
them. If ever they will follow your order, don't
forget to praise them. This is one way of
motivating them to continuously do good.

Violence is a big no no during the training or
even after that. Since you want your dog to be
tamed, you definitely do not want them to follow
your negative actions. If you will spank or shout
at them, their confidence will shrink. But if you
will correct them in a right way as well as
motivate them, their confidence will soar and you
will gain their respect.

There are basic commands that you can try on your
dogs. You can teach them when to "sit" or you can
order them "down" if they get too playful ". Make
them familiar of the word "stop" and "stay" if
they become unruly. Make them respond when you
say "no". This is an important word that if they
can follow it, it will show that you have control
over them. They must also learn how to walk
beside you and not to lag behind.

Proper dog training can bring out the best in
your pet. They will learn to respond to the
commands of their masters and their disobedience
and other bad attitudes will lessen. You will
learn to love and appreciate them more if they
will always be at their best behavior.
