The African grey toys give an entertaining and appealing look to their owners. These birds are known all over the globe because they are able to clearly pronounce sounds and words. These special species of birds are considered to be extremely intelligent and are thought to be as intelligent as a five year old child.

Various types of gadgets are available for the parrots to play with. The devices are specifically meant to stimulate their minds and engage the species in physical exercise. The gadgets should be easy to dismantle so that the creature may satisfy their curiosity by dismantling them to pieces. Owners are advised to look for these toys at available retail outlets.

Owners are also encouraged to pay attention to the type of materials used in making these gadgets. The most notable materials should be made from paper, wood, natural fiber and rubber. These items make it simple and easy for the pet to chew on. This exercise not only makes the pet busy but also helps promote healthy and strong beak development. A strong beak in birds is crucial for defense, feeding and beauty.

For a better emotional and mental state, allowing the pet to interact with members of the family and other birds is a wise ideal. Releasing them out of the cage helps in flexing their wings within the house. This helps in boosting their moods. Their cages are supposed to be strategically positioned within the house so that the birds can have a clear view of what transpires at home. This ensures the pets feel cared for and not neglected.

Owners are encouraged to install perches In the cages so that the birds remain safe and have the feeling they would have in case they were in their natural habitat. They can be able to swing and play on the perches as they make their mimics and communicate with each other. Owners will definitely find this important as the pets will be happy at all times.

Ensuring that the species are well taken care of is the owner's priority. Having at least two birds in the house is enough to ensure that they are comfortable in the presence of each other. Rearing a male and female is encouraged.

Having a cage is important for the well being of these birds. Owners are advised to ensure the dimensions to be at least thirty three inches long by twenty four inches wide. Use of rounded cages is highly discouraged. The cage helps protect the bird from predatory attacks from cats and dogs. Placing the cages within sight is important for constant monitoring of the birds.

African grey toys are indeed unique species that are a great fun to own as pets. Owners are subjected to a lot of entertainment from the species whenever they are at home. For instance, the birds have the ability to mimic phone ring tones, owners are therefore advised to be cautious whenever they have their phones around these magnificent birds.
