The significance of the material to the behavior of the dog is very exponential, it has been noted that, dogs bearing plastic collars are prone to be very violent and defensive in nature as opposed to the other materials. Collar material, therefore, is as important as the use of the collar itself.

Since one can not stay with the dog an entire day to make sure that the wounds are cleaned and nursed to avoid any bacterial infection it is important to incorporate the use of collars. The dog could help relieve the pain by licking or chewing but this could also be the door way various bacterial and other hazard infections thus the e-collar plays a very major role of ensuring that the dog Is watched closely regardless of where it is.

In most occasions the collar looks like a way of punishing the dog but it is indeed an unspoken way of appreciating, caring and being there for the dog. The recovery process does not come with a few setbacks.
