Facts About Cavalier King Charles Spaniels Puppy

By Kevin Mitchell

Selling puppies is not easy when one is a breeder. The entire process from beginning to end involves a lot of issues. The task of getting willing buyers is tedious and hard once the puppies reach the right age of being sold off to buyers. Prospective buyers of Cavalier King Charles Spaniels puppy can be found through various avenues, which if used well, can make the job a lot easier for sellers.

For instance, breeders usually place adverts in local newspapers to attract local buyers. Other media through which breeders advertise their puppies include veterinarian bulletin boards, feed stores, supply shops, and breed magazines among others. From these avenues, it is possible to find good buyers. Even though online adverts usually help breeders to reach more potential buyers, it is often best to meet buyers in person.

Physical interaction with the customer is vital for many reasons. First, one gets to assess and know whether the customer is able and can give the required upkeep and care for the puppy to grow healthy and strong. A good breeder always continues to care about the welfare of the puppy once it is released to the hands of the buyer. As a matter of fact, a contract of agreement between the breeder and buyer must be signed to ensure the puppy will be taken care of well.

There are numerous ways in which breeders use to identify if a probable buyer is responsible. The breeder will first want to know the occupation of the buyer to establish if they have the time to provide care. The breeder will also want to identify the type of life the buyer lives and how it matches with the breed of dog being bought. It is the responsibility of the breeder to advise the buyer on the breed to buy depending on their occupation and lifestyle.

The customer needs to ensure that appropriate housing for the dog they are purchasing is available. Adequate time and care should be given to indoor breeds by the buyer. The buyer should give the dog sufficient socialization and training as well. The amount of socialization usually determines the temperament of mot breeds. Training and socialization should commence at a young age.

Part of having a dog involves having a fenced yard. Fenced yards provide dogs with the necessary safety they need. Without a fence, puppies are prone to wandering off and being run over by vehicles or being stolen. The fence also keeps dogs from other dogs that may cause infections and other health problems. A fenced yard provides good space for exercise and play.

Tenants in certain apartments are prohibited from keeping pets. Therefore, it is vital for the individual to get consent for keeping dogs from their property owner. The consent is best if given in written form. Consent given in writing is always helpful during lawsuits that may occur in future.

Caring for a dog can be an expensive task for people who do not have money. There are routine veterinary services that must be provided to dogs for their well-being. Annual checkups and occasional vaccinations can be expensive in some cases. Grooming, feeding, and training are also sources of expense to dog owners.
