Article From SubmitYOURArticle.com: Discover Secrets Today to Stop Dogs Barking.

Are you frustrated with your dog because he is
continually barking for no apparent reason and
upsetting the neighbours? Discover the main
reasons why dogs bark and to resolve the problem
that many dog owners fail to learn.

If you are blessed with the situation of your dog
that is barking all the time then trust me you
are not on your own, numerous people that keep
dogs that have this problem feel there is nothing
they can do about it, but that is not the case.

When a dog barks there are lots of reasons to
why, they do it quite naturally they are sending
you a message of some kind it's the only way
verbally they can communicate with you.

Let's consider the reasons why dogs bark, this
may sound a little strange if you are not an
experienced dog owner, all dog barks have a
different tone or sound when they bark, if you
listen very carefully just like humans have
different voice levels, for example; if we are
composed then our voice would be different in
volume then if we are yelling and angry, and in
numerous situations can be much of the same with
dogs.

By taking notice of these sounds will give you
some idea to the nature of it. Is it a sociable
sound or violent sound? If you don't believe me
put it to the test the next time you are out
walking your dog.

Countless owners of dogs in this day and age get
dogs for security reasons; a barking dog in this
situation is not a problem, on the other hand
under the circumstances when a dog barks all the
time and you can't figure out the reasons why,
can be a problem and needs to be investigated
thoroughly.

Expert opinion from top dog trainers believe the
number one reason dogs bark is lack of attention,
it stands to reason there is some sense to this,
when a dog barks for no reason the owners
reaction is to yell at the dog, in which case the
dog has achieved what he wanted, and gained the
owners attention so what happens next he thinks
great that's all I need to do to get attention.

The number two reason top is lack of exercise,
when we first get our dogs we are very
enthusiastic to walk them, however with many dog
owners the novelty soon wears off and the result
the dog feels deprived.

I realise when it is bucketing down with rain, or
snowing or even to hot outside for walking the
dog, then this task can get overlooked and the
dog will bark to let you know he or she is not
happy with this, but it is his way of letting you
know.

The third reason is if he is inside and needs to
relieve himself, its okay when we want to do this
we go the bathroom and don't really think about
it, however the dog has to rely on you to let him
out into the garden or take him to the local park
so again the only way he knows how is to bark.

However another reason is arguably the most
annoying barking dog situation is when the dog
never stops, even when he is punished and thrown
outside it just continues and this can be
frustrating for the owners plus it upsets the
neighbours.

A typical situation is if you have a neighbour
who works shift work as many people do, after a
tough night at work all he or she wants to do is
get some sleep, and a barking dog can drive you
crazy when you are tired and in this state of
mind.

The outcome as many repercussions for a start
many people respond by yelling at the dog, which
only makes the situation worse, often they file a
complaint about the barking dog in which case you
could be looking at a fine for disturbing the
peace, and the worst thing is you fall out with
your neighbours and that's the last thing you
want to happen.

The solution is not simple but shouting is not
practical and proved not to be successful, there
is always a reason why a dog is barking all the
time, so its down to you to get to the bottom of
it and to get involved with a little lateral
thinking.

A colleague of mine some time previously shared
a trick he implicated with his dog that was
continually barking for no reason, at the time my
thoughts were this could not possibly work,
however knowing his dog was a problem dog the
results he achieved were nothing short of amazing
that made me think again.

Instead of yelling at your dog try the reverse
and lower your voice and speak so that the dog
has to pay attention to hear you, he explained
this simply did not work on the first occasion
mainly because the dog did not expect this to
happen but on a consistent basis this was very
effective and certainly solved his dog barking
problems.
