Chihuahua Clothes For Pet Owners Unburdened By Budgetary Constraints
Chihuahua fashion has become very popular with chihuahua owners over the past decade, and now that summer is here, the heavier dog sweaters and coats are making way for the more fashionable costumes that some owners love to dress their little dogs in. The 2011 summer lineup of dog clothes is showing up in pet stores all around now, and I'm going to talk to the issue of luxury dog clothes and let you know where you can find them, today.
First off, with the lousy economy, it certainly seems the "haute couture" end of the dog clothing spectrum is drying up. I would not say that the luxury side of dog clothing market is gone because that would be nonsense: you can still find insanely expensive dog clothing to lavish your dog with today. But what you'll see if you if you look around and you've been a puppy clothes customer for some time is that the luxe designs being released from the top end manufacturers of this clothing are becoming far and few between right now, and the creativity in the designs is wearing thin, especially compared to the growth we were seeing three or four years ago.
With that said, you can still find some outlandishly nice clothes for you little dog today, and if you look around, you'll probably first notice the couture fashion for little dogs. If you search Google for these clothes, you'll find the well established retailers like the Doggie Couture Shop and the Dog Collars Boutique still pushing forward with established lines of couture dog clothing. The Chihuahua Clothing store also has a good line of couture chihuahua dresses for papering that little dog in your life. The neat thing about this store is that you truly get to make the clothes "couture" for your dog by customizing the print message that appears on the clothing you purchase (if it has a message)!

On Amazon, for example, you'll see designer brands like Gucci selling dog fashion for extremely high prices. It's wild how much you can spend today on dog clothes. Even the diamond company Swarovski sells a diamond studded, hand made designer chihuahua dress for $3K US!
Lastly, there's the new, 2011 lineup of chihuahua clothing. A few stores have kept producing new clothing for chihuahuas in 2011 and I've looked a few good places you can find the summer 2011 collections for chihuahuas. The two that stand out as being the best so far this year, for me, are Urban Pup and the Chihuahua Clothes store. Both stores update their lines regularly, both have a summer 2011 line, and especially if you're shopping for a chihuahua, the Chihuahua Clothes shop carries a great line for pampering your apple head or your teacup chihuahua and making him comfortable and adorable in the latest fashion.
