A Succinct Introduction To Blue French Bulldogs
The Blue French Bulldog is a short animal with a remarkable muscularity. Its flat face and ears resembling those of a bat add to its distinct appearance. The body is covered by fur with a characteristic smoothness which can be perceived even without touching. Its face shows eagerness along with a penetrating and alert semblance. Its intelligent and energetic expression brings an air of enthusiasm and makes it likable.
Thefascinating color of the Blue French Bulldog which makes it different from other French Bulldog puppies seems quite like 'Blue' but yet appears secluded. The dilation gene 'd' present in its body enables the pigment to change from black color to blue. Actually, the color has a grayish tint. Like all unusual things like the 'Kohinoor Diamond' and 'Mona Lisa of Da Vinci', the Blue French Bulldog is also a much sought after item.
Blue Brindle, Blue Pied and Blue Fawn are the three existing species of the Blue French Bulldog. There is a hue of blue and gray mixture on a backdrop of bluish grey body fur that forms a typical feature of the Blue Brindle. However in the Blue Pied, the color is lighter because of the milder content of the 'd' gene.
Both of these generally have blue eyes or golden yellow eyes. In the Blue Fawn, the difference is more apparent as a result of the presence of some masking spots on the face. They have peculiar greenish grey eyes. They are primarily the offspring of fawn or red fawns.
The Great Dane, the Sharpeis, the Labrador and the French Mastiff Dog are some types of blue other than the Blue French Bulldog. Though the Blue French Bulldog has a peculiar color, it is still attractive and well-liked.
Because of its stubbornness, the Blue French Bulldog needs constant training. The male dogs are aggressive to some extent and hence they must be taught to follow instructions. Training methods should not be inhumane, because such techniques will offend certain characteristics. Moreover, they do not react when treated cruelly. Hence they should be trained patiently.
Grooming of a Blue French Bulldog is important. Grooming is not a difficult chore since they are poor shedders. Drooling is a characteristic of these dogs and mouth washing is an absolute must.
Exercise is one activity that the Blue French Bulldog does not need to a large extent. If exerted, respiratory problems are likely to occur. The puppy is mainly an inside one and any activity in hot weather is to be avoided.
The energetic and elegant nature of the Blue French Bulldog enables it to be a friendly companion. With adequate training it could be a very useful animal.
