Five Most Popular Dogs That Don't Shed Worldwide

Want to learn about non shedding dogs? Here are
the five most common dogs that are suitable for
people with dog allergies.

1. Yorkshire Terrier

The Yorkshire Terrier, also known as the Yorkie,
is a toy breed. They have dark eyes, a black nose
and perked-up ears. The breed is well-known for
their busy, curious and often stubborn
temperament. They demand regular brushing
through their coat every every day or two, and
full grooming every 3 or 4 weeks. They can
easily be suitable for apartment life, but
prefer a small backyard so they have plenty of
space. You must be prepared to perform a
moderately high amount of grooming and set aside
time to provide them with early socialization and
fair discipline if you bring home the Yorkshire
Terrier.

2. Poodle

The Poodle (often called the French Poodle) is a
non-sporting dog. They are famous for their
playful, obedient and devoted personality. They
feature long ears with a wiry, non-shedding coat
in several colors. They prefer a small backyard
to run around in, but can be suitable for life
in an apartment. They need a high amount (about
10 hours weekly) of brushing of their coat once
every day, and a full-body groom every 5 weeks.
If you choose to buy the Poodle you ought to be
able to execute a very high amount of grooming
and allocate time to give them early
socialization and ongoing mental challenges.

3. Shih Tzu

The Shih Tzu (also called "lion dog" after the
Chinese translation of its name) is a toy breed
of dog. They need regular brushing through their
coat once every day, and a full-body groom once
every 2 or 3 weeks. They feature a non-shedding
coat that comes in a range of colors. They are
famous for their playful and affectionate
disposition. They enjoy having a small yard that
gives them space to run around, but can be suited
to apartment life. If you choose the Shih Tzu you
need to be ready to carry out a high level of
grooming and take time to provide them with
consistent and firm training.

4. Miniature Schnauzer

The Miniature Schnauzer is a terrier breed. They
like to have a small backyard that gives them
space to run around, but will very easily be
suitable for apartment life. They feature a
distinct beard, bushy eyebrows and wiry coat.
They require occasional brushing of their coat
every week, and proper grooming every 6 to 8
weeks. The breed is famous for their alert,
spirited, playful and sometimes stubborn
personality. If you bring home the Miniature
Schnauzer you must be able to perform a regular
level of grooming and allow time to provide them
with early socialization and positive obedience
training.

5. Western Highland White Terrier

The Western Highland White Terrier (also known
as the Westie) is a terrier dog. Their
personality is famously known as being
affectionate, happy and devoted. They feature
deep eyes, pointed ears and a distinctive white
coat. They like having a small, well-fenced yard
to run around in, but can be suited to apartment
life. They need occasional brushing through
their coat once every week, and full grooming
once every 4 to 6 weeks. You must be willing to
execute a fairly high level of grooming and
allow time to provide them with firm but
positive obedience training if you choose to buy
the Western Highland White Terrier.
